Cottonwood ALC is looking for dynamic, energetic, agile, creative, collaborative individuals to join our team.
Lead Facilitator for Students ages 3-6 (full-time position)
You have experience cultivating authentic, respectful, and partnership-based relationships with people of all ages and will collaborate with the other Roots (our young learners) Facilitators. Each day you will connect with, assist in setting intentions, and reflect together with our youngest learners.
Lead Facilitator for Elementary School Students ages 7 - 12 (full-time position)
You have experience cultivating authentic, respectful, and partnership-based relationships with people of all ages and will take great joy in leading a Spawn Point (small group of mixed-aged students) that meets each day to connect, set intentions, and reflect together.
*Full-time facilitator roles are primarily fulfilled Monday - Friday from the hours of 8am to 4pm.
Literacy Specialist (part-time position)
Our Literacy Specialist is someone who loves to share the skills of reading and writing with kids. They will work with small groups throughout the day to ensure that all students at Cottonwood are truly free to learn as they develop literacy skills through creative projects, outside of the box thinking, and play! The literacy specialist will receive training in the program we currently use at Cottonwood. This position is fulfilled Monday - Thursday from the hours of 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Play Workers (2) - Agile After School Coordinators
If you are excited by tinkering, making, and taking things apart, this is the job for you. Employing agile tools, these facilitators will work with students of all ages in Cottonwood’s after school program. This position is fulfilled Monday - Thursday from the hours of 2:45pm to 6:15pm. *these positions are open to responsible high school and college students who want to share their curiosity and love of discovery with younger kids.
